Hot off the presses: a Member Feature!
Meet Jeanne Bryner. In addition to being a longtime WCSA member, widely published poet, and retired RN, Jeanne started a Nurse Honor Guard chapter under Delta Xi, a chapter of Sigma, the International Honor Society of Nursing in her community. She and the other nurses in her chapter "conduct a brief, reverent service for fallen nurses, place a white rose near the urn or inside the casket, ring a triangle as a final call to duty... and extinguish the Nightingale lamp before giving it to a family member."
Read more about Jeanne's relationship with the working class and working-class studies by clicking on each of the above slides. Thank you for your art and committed service, Jeanne!
We'd love to feature you next as a WCSA member. Just fill out this quick n' easy form.
