Food Shaming: Creative Writing Workshop with Lita Kurth

Join us for an online creative writing workshop hosted by Lita Kurth, writer-extraordinaire and WCSA Advisory Committee member, on Feb. 1 at 12:30pm PST/ 3:30 EST. Focused on the theme of Class and Food Shaming, the workshop is part of lead-up activities for the Texas Center for Working-Class Studies conference on Feb. 15.

A longtime WCSA member and creative writing teacher, Lita’s writing has received many accolades, including a Diana Woods Memorial Award and multiple Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominations. Her latest book, One Creative Writing Prompt a Day: A Journal to Build Your Craft and Unlock Your Inner Storyteller, is out in February through Callisto Press/ Simon & Schuster.
