June 7, 9am: Roundtable Plenary, “Capitalism and Class at the Intersections”
Join us on Friday, June 7 from 9-10:30 am for “Capitalism and Class at the Intersections,” a Roundtable discussion of Michael Zweig’s latest book, Class, Race, and Gender: Challenging the Injuries and Divisions of Capitalism. This talk is part of the 2024 Working Class Studies Association annual conference at SUNY Old Westbury, June 6-8 2024.
Along with Zweig, the discussion will feature Peter Ikeler, Associate Professor of Sociology, SUNY Old Westbury; Robin Brooks, Associate Professor of Africana Studies, University of Pittsburgh; Kade Doyle Griffiths, PhD Candidate in Cultural Anthropology, Brooklyn Institute for Social Research; Jack Metzgar, Professor Emeritus of Humanities, Roosevelt University; and Christie Launius, Associate Professor of Social Transformation Studies, Kansas State University.
